Wig Maintenance
Wig Maintenance
At WŸG, every wig is handcrafted with precision using the finest quality virgin Slavic and European hair. To preserve its beauty, longevity, and realism, regular maintenance is essential.
Daily Care
- Gently detangle hair before and after wear using a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush.
- Store your wig on a silk-covered head block or satin-lined stand to help maintain shape and reduce friction.
- Avoid wearing your wig to bed, in swimming pools, or in the shower.
Washing Your Wig
Your wig should be washed every 30 wears, or sooner if product builds up.
- Prep: Gently detangle the hair from ends to root.
- Cleanse: Use a sulphate-free, wig-safe shampoo. Lather in lukewarm water, gently smoothing the hair downwards.
- Condition: Apply conditioner mid-length to ends only. Avoid the knots or lace base.
- Rinse & Dry: Rinse thoroughly. Blot with a towel. Leave to air dry on a stand, or blow-dry on a cool setting with care.
We recommend using our curated WŸG Wig Care Kit for best results.
